Mitch Grassi - high voice, Scott Hoying - "guy in the middle" baritone, Kirstin Maldonado, Kevin Olusola - beat boxer, Avi Kaplan - original bass (2011-2017). The current bass is Matt Sallee who replaced Avi in 2017. Hope this helps! In 2015 they won for Best Arrangement, Instrumental of A Cappella for their "Daft Punk" medley. The won the same award in 2016 for "Dance of the Sugar Plum Fairy" and 2017 they won in the category of Best Country Duo/Group Performance with Dolly Parton on "Jolene." They were nominated in 2023 and 2024 for their holiday albums "Evergreen and Holidays Around the World in the Best Traditional Pop Vocal Album. (Wikipedia) They were nominated for a "Webby Award" in 2016 for this video. At that time, they were doing mostly KZbin videos until they took off.

Mitch, Kirstin, and Scott are from Arlington Texas - they've known each other and have sang with each other since they were little kids. They used to post videos of just the three of them singing when they were in highschool, a couple years before they formed PTX in 2011. They added Kevin to the group after finding him on youtube through a video he posted of him beatboxing while playing cello that went viral - he's from Kentucky. and Matt, who joined in 2017, is from Maryland, and was a fan of PTX before he was hired to replace Avi, who is from California :^)
