The "original song" was written by Stevie Wonder and was called "Pastime Paradise". Stevie Wonder allowed Coolio to rewrite the song to be more relevant to people as Stevie released the song in 1976.

Ronnie thinks this is a bit cringe, but I love it. Coolio heard the finished song and wanted to be in the video. There's a video of them performing it long together on an award show. There's a third guy on the chorus, I don't really like, but it's still a great performance, that you should check out. I'd also love for you to check out Ronnies solo songs. Greetings from Germany

Love me some FIR, but this record is far from good. If they were to cover GP today it would be killer. His vocals have evolved 10 fold and the band has found a sound that would mix well with a cover.
