Foo Fighters… my all time fav band. Checkout Nandi Bushell playing drums on stage with Foo Fighters performing Everlong… she absolutely killed it! She is such a talented musician…just amazing to watch her play.

After yesterday's video with Nandi Bushell, I'd really like to see you react to this song Live with her on drums at the Los Angeles Forum.

Nandi Bushell issued a challenge to Dave Grohl, founder of the Foo Fighters (also drummer for Nirvana before Kurt Cobain passed). Her favorite drummer, his friends told him to watch her KZbin videos and he was amazed. Responded to her. Long story. She ended up playing this song, the last song of the concert in Los Angeles last August. The whole story is heartwarming. There are hundreds of videos of her drumming with the Foo fighters at the concert. I cry tears of pure joy watching Nandi playing, enjoying, loving life!

This song is often interpreted to be about the drug addictions and bad habits of the late Kurt Cobain, who was in Nirvana with Foo Fighters frontman Dave Grohl, who wrote this song. However, according to an interview with Grohl in Mojo magazine, he penned this song during one of the lowest points in his life over Christmas 1996. Could you please react to Suicide Blonde by inxs 🙂
@dan16482 жыл бұрын
I thought this was about his relationship with Veruca Salt singer Louise Post & at a good time & the dark time's song you referred to was Monkey Wrench because it was after his divorce?

The USA still be sleeping on this genius for the most part (though he recently performed on the Tonight Show and sold out Madison Square Garden) but the rest of the world has caught on with his unique style. + I feel no one translates words into images better then he does. This was from the 2nd Foo Fighters album 'The color & the shape' in 1997... it was also the first record that the band played on, since the Foo Fighters' debut album in 1995 was Dave Grohl playing all the guitars, bass & drums. Nate Mendel (bass), Pat Smear (guitar) and William Goldsmith (drums) were the band... but Grohl was not satisfied w/ Goldsmith's drum tracks, so he re-recorded most of the drums on the record. When Goldsmith found out, he opted to leave the band... Guitarist Pat Smear would leave in 1998. Taylor Hawkins (drums) joined the band after the album was recorded, so even tho he's in the music video playing drums, he did not play on that record... It became a huge success in Europe and N. America - 4 singles were released to MTV from the album: 'Monkey wrench' ... 'My hero' ... 'Walking after you'... and 'Everlong' 🔥🔥🤘🤘 Dave Grohl and the Foo Fighters were always goofing around in their music videos. They were never a band that took themselves too seriously - the music always came first before their image.
