I love the four piece. However, I have to give support to Tamu Murata. I follow many great Japanese drummers, of which she is one. Let us forget favorites and just be honest. This is one fantastic drum exhibition. ❤️🥁

First song recorded and released as a 4 piece, after the departure of guitarist Saki earlier this year. This song just came out a few months ago. "Groundbreakers of Destiny" , I think, is what "G.O.D." stands for. The other 2 songs you have heard from them are both from the 1st album. They did 3 albums with Saki, and I'm guessing this will be on a future 4th album. 4 piece Nemophila will be just fine.🤘🤘Love this song. As a 4 some, solos will be more of guitar and bass , as opposed to dual guitar. And Mayu (vocals) will be playing some guitar too. Ok, you want a live video. Suggest "Seize the Fate" or "Zen' official live videos. FYI , Zen is all harsh vocal. Also the newest new song is the ballad "Beautiful Days" , it has a music video.

Yes it is on their 4th album. Pre-releases on sale now, but as foreigner I purchase from their website. That will be open to us in early January. Sorry, I’m confusing some of my favorite bands on exact dates.

Just react to all of their music. There is simply no way to describe this band on a few songs. Yes they are soft and are hard. In their early days they described themselves as, “ yurufwa ,” which is something like fluffy band from hell. I don’t know the exact translation. Just keep going and you’ll learn. ❤️🌸

Nemophila - "baby blue eyes" flower, "Rurikarakusa" in Japanese; grows in N-America and is appreciated in Japan (see "Hitachi Seaside Park"). The band was formed in 2019, originally as a "session" brought together by... Mayu - the vocalist (ex- Lipstick band); Haraguchi-san - (ex- HöLDERLINS band) bass, backing vocals, was Mayu's friend and colleague from Music College; Tamu Murata - drums, backing vocals, one the most respected session musician in Japan (countless bands), with also her own original carrier; she's also the wife of Akira Yamaoka, musician/composer, known especially for his videogames OSTs, in particular for "Silent Hill"; Saki (ex - "Mary's Blood" band for a decade, "Destrose", and others), she's a "young sacred monster" in J-metal) guitar, backing vocals, and... Hazuki (KOIAI "Dark Indigo" / Li-sa-X, Disqualia bands) - guitar, backing vocals; both, Saki and Hazuki have a lot of experience. Unfortunately, Saki left the band in march 2024, after the Budokan concert, thinking that her contribution was enough after more than 4-5 years, pursuing her - successful - solo carrier, and then she became a member of Like-an-Angel band. The band continues in the 4 members form, with Mayu starting to add guitar bits while Haraguchi-san's bass, and Hazuki's guitar becomes more prominent. Nemophila, with their self-declared "Jigoku no Yurufuwa" (soft and fluffy hell) general metal-rock style, made an amazing fandom impression during the pandemic, thru KZbin clips... ...so far about 50 Western/Japanese awesomely bonkers covers, and about 40 original, freakishly insane good songs (singles, EPs - including the JPURecords' Extended Edition of "Oiran", 3 albums - "Revive", "Seize The Faith", "Evolve"; EP - "Beautiful Days"). Does it really matter who knows but No finding Nemo. Americans say Neemo like the 🐟 but Japanese just say Nem. Mayu joked about it with Saki when I saw them live in Nagoya. She said Neemofilla 🐟 Americano.😂
