Hank Jr. Fell 500 feet down Ajax mountain, MT, nearly being killed. He wears dark glasses and a beard because of the scars.

His dad was the first to be inducted in the Country Music Hall of Fame. Another great Hank Jr song, A Country Boy Can Survive.

His nickname is Bocephus. He tried to sing like his father but changed his direction and became an “outlaw country music singer”. He would sing with his father when he was very young. He fell off a mountain and almost died. I saw him 3 times when I was in high school. The last time he came to town he was so drunk he couldn’t sing and stopped the concert.

It's a very popular bar song. When it plays the chorus and Hang sings, "Why do you drink?", the bar patrons shout, "To get drunk!" When Hank sings, "Why do you smoke?", the patrons shout, "To get high!" When Hank sings, "Why must you live out the songs that you wrote?", the patrons shout, "To get laid!"

His Dad, Hank Sr, passed at age 29, on his way to perform a concert. The Blues Man and Whiskey Bent and HELL Bound

If you want an experience, look up Hank Williams III. HW jr's son is a performer too, but takes country even more off the traditional style. Manages to bring a punk edge to country! There are youtube videos of him performing at a tribute to his Grandfather, Hank Willams, and he not only looks just like him (probably HW jr did too before his accident) but he can sing with a yodel. HW III sings this song very well and "Whiskey Bent and HELL Bound".

Although Hank Jr's father was a well-known, traditional country artist, Hank Jr and some others were considered "outlaw" singers because of their non-conformity to write and sing traditional country styles of songs. Willie Nelson, Merle Haggard, Waylon Jennings, David Allen Coe, Johnny Cash and Hank Jr are just a few of the more famous "outlaw" country artists. This is how I was made to understand it. All of them great country artists, "outlaw" or not. :)

Even though the term 'Outlaw Country' came in to use in the 1970s, I'm believe that all of the Country Music greats that you mentioned, would agree that Hank Sr. was the original Country outlaw.

Hank Jr did a "collaboration" video with his dad of Tear In My Beer. There is a video for it, and it's amazing to see both of them on the screen. Hank Sr abused alcohol and other substances and died of a heart attack, I believe, brought on by substance abuse. He was an amazing artist but was actually kicked out of the Grand Ole Opry when he was alive because of his lifestyle. I would recommend reacting to the Hank Williams Jr and Sr video (make sure you get the video of them together) of "Tear in My Beer" and the Hank Williams Jr "Country Boy Can Survive" video.
