HF was the winner of the Sing Off in 2013 which was an A Capella band competition, and Shawn Stockman of Boys 2 Men was one of the judges, and they went to him to seek approval of this cover, and he completely gave them the thumbs up.

I've been a home fry since 2013 and it's easy to forget there are no instruments when listening to these guys. Their sound is so full - they sound like a band with instruments. These boys are just insanely good at what they do. I love them and loved your reaction to them! Thanks!! :-)

These guys do an amazing job of this song! They can do any genre including R&B. Rob's voice has so much feeling & soul in it. Austin adding his higher tones, Chance harmonizing in the back, Tim adding some bass & Adam with his fabulous vocal percussion. These guys are my favorite a cappella group out there. All their songs are good whether it is serious, heart warming or funny.

I can't argue with anything you said about them they are indeed, superbly talented. Adam Rupp does beatboxing like you can't believe, Tim and Adam chance also help when yet another layer/ "instrument" needs added to the "orchestra"! I enjoyed watching you enjoy this :-)

Adam Rupp is the beat-boxer. On some songs, Chance and Tim help out. In the videos, you may hear multiple sounds layered in.

Love the diverse genre that they undertake with their style that showcases their vocal gifts. In this song they only utilize one beatboxer, however the others at times provide layering that in harmony provides the music that can almost sound like instruments and then come back in singing words in harmony to the lead singer at that point in time when it simply merges with ear candy.

Home Free is so good. When they were on the NBC show the Sing Off (they won in 2013) Shawn Stockman of Boyz II Men was a judge and he loved them. I think they wanted to do right by him. Such a good rendition. Rob (lead here) killed it. Yeah this was before Covid. They have a lot of videos. They did a lot of songs during Covid during 2020 and 2021 and they filmed those separately. Still amazingly good too. They really lifted my spirits during Covid because they would drop a new video every 2 weeks. And they’re funny too. They have a great sense of humor. You might like their Quarantine video or Sea Shanty Medley. So much fun!

They all are able to beatbox, but mostly what you hear is Adam Rupp. He's one of the best in the business. And thanks for noticing that they don't really have a lead singer. Whoever sounds best for a song is who takes lead. And that's pretty exciting.

It was just Adam Rupp beatboxing in this. They can all beatbox a little bit, but it’s usually just Adam. Chance is the only one you haven’t heard singing solo, so if you want to check his voice out I recommend “I Can’t Outrun You”, or “Yours”

All 5 can beatbox to a certain degree! Pretty cool, huh?? Adam, of course, is a total freak of nature!! He's a walking drum kit AND DJ! 👍 Austin can actually do the harmonica (we call it a no-monica!), as well. He and Adam do a duet with "harmonicas" in concert! As for you asking who was beatboxing in this song, it was just Adam. Unless you consider the bass line. Tim and/or Chance work together with Adam to create the rhythm section. They do the bass guitar, basically...and Adam does the drums/percussion. 😉 These guys never fail to amaze me and I've been a huge HomeFry for years! Enjoy diving into the rabbit hole! They've got over 150 videos to choose from (every genre) and there's not a bad one in the bunch! ❤
