When I had my son, for some reason, whenever I had to get up with him in the middle of the night, every song that was popular when I was 13 came back with total clarity. My son is 10 and can correctly do this song, "OPP," and "The Humpty Dance" when he hears them. When he was 3, he accurately used Ice Cube lyrics against a bully at a playground.
