Theres a grit to blackpink that other girl groups lack and when the girls BP show confidence and dominance theres this weight to it. the success, accolades and numbers are all there to back up their claims.

@@soominam3345 BlackPink is probably in the only GG in K-pop and in the world (except maybe "Spice Girls") in which each member holds her on, each has her own unique voice and vibe, each being a superstar, and that none is the center figure overshadowing the rest (initially the 2 rappers Jennie and Lisa shone above the 2 vocalists Rosé and Jisoo but not anymore).

A lot of BP b sides are just as good. You can react to colour coded lyrics and you will get just as many views. Crazy over you, Love to Hate me and Typa girl would be a good place to start.

Recommend that you react to BlackPink 'WHISTLE', kzbin.info/www/bejne/mnq2f5qsi9WKotE, released on the same day with 'BOOMBAYAH' (a few minutes later), as their 2 debut songs/Music Videos. It does not have nearly the same number of KZbin views as 'Boombayah", because, in my opinions, it is so different from the rest of their songs. Completely different vibe. Chill. For those who loves it (I am one of them), it is one of BP's best. My BP favorite songs: (1) 'Happiest Girl', 'Don't Know What to Do', 'You Never Know', 'Stay', (2) 'Whistle', 'Love to Hate Me', 'Hope Not'. Unable to rank the rest b/c all of their songs are so good, especially the "B side" songs (having no music videos). Unable to rank any of them Last. Note: if you like to hear their raps in English, check out the Japanese versions of their songs: they convert all of their Korean raps into English, because they cannot rap in Japanese (they can speak and sing quite well in that language). They sing very well in English, including Jisoo, who speaks the least English.
