Bro you don’t understand, 30-35 years ago Ice Cube was the hardest fn MC in the game. He was the nicest MC in NWA and then went solo and ran off 4 straight Platinum solo albums. @Shon, as others have said you really should watch Straight Outta Compton because it's based on NWA's actual history and gives context to all the events that led up to this song. Also, "No Vaseline" comes on a little past the halfway point, and the biopic goes on to tell what happened with everyone after. Highly recommended!!

Eazy was a dealer & had the money when NWA first started & he founded the label, Ruthless Records with Jerry. Once NWA started having success & weren’t getting paid much cash the other members started questioning things. Eazy had no desire to break with Jerry, as he was getting a much larger chunk than the other members via Ruthless. I’m sure that’s why Eazy didn’t want anything to change. His cut would have shrunk along with Jerry’s if the group members got a larger chunk of the sales and touring profit, so he refused to break from the manager & label partner he chose.
