Jay told nas and his team yall good and pulled out a tech if shit popped off 2 years later nas dropped illmatic. On the song respect off that album. Top descriptive rappers who talk coke bars are Jay-Z, Pusha-T, and Jeezy. People hate on the first two for obvious reasons. Number 1 reason is because they don’t understand what they are saying and dismiss the whole thing instead of having understanding of that persons story. On the flip side they’ll watch all the drug dealing shows like Power, BMF, and Raising Kannan with their feet kicked up on a couch. Jay-Z drops gems low key in his songs if you listen to them. It’s crazy how people hate people they don’t know.

Lol top 15 - 20? Lol bro by the time you’ve completed his pre-retirement 8 album run (Reasonable Doubt through The Black album), the best 8 album stretch in Hip Hop, you’ll understand that he’s been top 1. Hov has BEEN Thee GOAT for over 25 years & always will be. He has the greatest catalogue, the most influence & no one raps better nor as real. And lastly, yes, between 1983 - 1997, Hov & his partners moved millions & millions of dollars worth of cocaine. All his raps are about his real life. There are multiple other hustlers & drug lords with records that can & have attested to this. Hov the only black kingpin from the crack era to make it out without dying snitching or prison.
