Love, love, love Luke Combs! I immediately loved his music on the radio. Seeing him on the awards shows, how humble he is, just solidified that love. Thank you sir, for doing this one.

One of the good guys! One of my FAVORITE artists. His song "Where the Wild Things Are" is such a GREAT STORY song. The video of him singing into a Mic and reading the words of the song from his phone is just REAL. I love it! You should check it out...😊

If you want a song with a great story check out "Where the Wild Things Are" by Luke. The song has a phenomenal story that just screams country music. Further, the song itself is so interesting. It was written and offered to several artists who all turned it down, despite loving the story, because they all said it was too difficult to sing and so they would never be able to do it live. Finally, it was offered to Luke, two years after it was written. Luke said he adored the story, but again couldn't sing it live so decided to pass on it. He was then convinced by his manager and some of his friends that he would work out how to sing it, so he took the song and recorded it as part of his most recent album. I saw him live in London last week, and he sang it. It was perfect. He more than did it justice.

It's wild how as a kid, my whole family were all about Harley Davidson motorcycles, and when you're in that department, it's almost natural that you're going to hear a ton of good old country music, and will stick with you forever. Going into middle school, and especially high school, my tastes changed to rap, listening to Tupac and some pretty hardcore rap like Lil-Wyte for just about a decade. Then as you grow up and hit your 30's, to mid 30's your taste in music can change. You start to kinda appreciate all music for what it is. But, what I never could never really go back to was rap music. Of course there are some rap classics, that I think some can relate to, but never really could get back to it. When you start to appreciate all music, it can actually make finding what you truly love, somewhat difficult to find. I'm sure 90% of it was due to my depression, so finding good music can be somewhat difficult to find. Then one day I thought, let's go back to country, but not the the new pop type country, I want to listen to the legends. I look up, who it the best country artists, and of course there is Garth Brooks, Tim McGraw, Shania Twain, and was getting warmer. Then I see the king of country, the only and only, George Strait. The instant I heard George Strait's song, Check Yes or No, my whole world became about his country music. George Strait ebodies the definition of what makes country so great, and that's telling you a story, from start to finish, that has a beginning and an end. He damn near sings you a story book, that is simple, relaxing, yet feels just right. Of course all country music does this, but there are many flavors, which makes country so unique. Depending on who you listen to, it can be relaxing, poppy, raw, or straight up rock and roll. Oddly enough, it took the legend himself, Mr George Strait, who is typically relaxing, which was exactly the music I wanted, I just didn't know it. Before, if you had asked me what my favorite music was, it was a very difficult question to answer, because as I stated earlier, I appreciate all music. And, I still do. It was George Strait who woke me up, and can now confidently say, without hesitation to anyone, that my favorite music is 100% country. It doesn't matter who is singing it, or which track I'm on, I can damn near listen to it all. I absolutely love it. Oh, and btw Taylor... Love your reaction videos buddy. You get it.

A Luke Combs reaction seems like the perfect time to recommend a song called "Luke Combs" by a new singer by the name of Tanner Adell, an absolutely beautiful singer with an amazing voice!

Love Luke Combs! Have you ever done a Billy Currington song? He’s my absolute favorite and he’s very underrated. He has a song called “Walk a little straighter” it’s heartbreakingly beautiful and since you have sons I think you could appreciate it. He wrote the chorus when he was 12 years old!

A truer hybrid of Country Music and Rock. He does a have voice that also swings between both genres.
