Lyrics: The blue sky Covered by these clouds Abode of the saints Who wouldn't want to be there, my friend. The wars and quarrels of other times Don't do them again Consider them withered leaves, From now on we will cultivate new ones, my friend. You and me Let us just pass (on earth) because we are all pilgrims. No one will live here forever. Let us learn to forgive ourselves, my friend. If one day you are sad Because a loved one is gone Remember that he only leaves in advance But we will all get there one day too, my friend. The blue sky Covered by these clouds Abode of the saints Who wouldn't want to be there, my friend.

I have known this song courtesy of one of the Best Versatile Radio Presenters of the National Broadcaster in one of the Radio stations Motsweding FM and that's Alphious Oshebeng Koonuaditse. He has made this song popular in South Africa, since early 2000s. This song brings chills to my body every time I hear it. I don't know a single word of it.

A classic! When we entered Malagasy airspace on board an Air Madagascar flight, this was the song that told us we were home

Thank you for sharing the song from my country, the song talking about spiritual. He said all of us gonna die and there is no one who lives in this earth forever and let's forgive on another

I love this song so much. It means a lot for Malagasy people. People use to sing it when they lose a relative or close friend. It is a song for mourning, encouragement, and forgiveness. It is very poetic for sure. Here is how I translate it in English: Oh! the blue sky, covered by the clouds, Where the saints live. Who doesn't want to go there? (Referring to the place where your loved one went when they passed away) Even me or you, We are all pilgrimage, No body will remain here (on earth). Therefore, let us forgive one another. (Meaning we won't stay long in this world. It's better to love and forgive one another) If you become emotional, left by loved ones, they just led they way, We'll all join them too. (Be courageous, we will still see one another in the afterlife) The quarrels we did in the past, Let's not do them again. They are like dried leaves. Let's focus on planting new seeds. (Let's move on and stop fighting against each other) Oh! the blue sky, covered by the clouds, Where the saints live. Who doesn't want to go there?

I am not an environmentalist but I do believe we need to be good stewards of the earth we were given. Madagascar has lost over half of its trees because making charcoal is their primary export. If they can raise up their tourism things would be better.Christianity is their main religion so it wouldn't hurt to pray for them.

Hello! How about listening to Tom's new songs? (Tom MacDonald), like "Black & White", "Race War", "Chrome". And a couple of old songs you might have missed, like "Ghosts" and "Riot" ???

@rosalieelliottofficial Please, check the performance either with us or in private. You will like their performance. Give me your review. In the beginning, I wanted to give you both. So, you can first listen to the studio version and the performance. But then, I decided to give you the performance only.
