I was so blinded by BTS when I got into K-pop that I skipped Mamamoo even after a colleague told me it was her favourite group…. That’s until I heard their killing verse on Dingo and then the rest was history. They are the only girl group I can say I love now! Love them so much and Hwasa and Wheein have stolen my heart right out of my chest! Love your reaction and I hope to see more Mamamoo 💜

Omg I did literally the same exact thing. I was so obsessed with Blackpink and I keep seeing mamamoo come up on my feed but I just ignored them. And I don’t know why but one day I finally just clicked on their dingo medley and I was just floored! Hwasa and Wheein are also my favorite. I consider them both my bias, and Moonbyul is my wrecker for sure.

Yeah, they do badass breakup songs like Aya and Egotistic but that's just one side of their approach to love songs. Whether they're falling in or out of love the songs are visceral and sensual and the emotions are risky and dangerous. They rarely do cheesy, greeting card style love songs and the one that comes to mind (Mumumumch) is a song for the fans. Decalcomanie is a good example of a spicy MMM love song about attraction and desire. Every moomoo will tell you that the best video about MMM is the two part guide to the members called Introducing Mamamoo by Purple Hawke. Don't be intimidated by the two parts or the length of each part. They're extremely well-edited and highly entertaining and informative.

This is one of their best songs! And a later one too. From the first sound you hear, you can tell what you are in for. These 4 women are responsible for some of THE most theatrical stage performances EVER attempted in music. On practically no bankroll (see a history video on them) they have developed a singular mystique that puts other performers in AWE of them (see any queendom performance). The 4 of them would bust out in full voiced dancing performances IN THE STREETS in front of a theater and have crowds cheering. Their success is historic. Their talents are undeniable. They are THE BEST!!! See their live performances to really be blown away.

Mamamoo is an extremely talented group of women, who can do it all to the highest level. They are the best female group group around and deserve much more. AYA always struck me as Moonbyuls song. She really shines in this one. There's also footage of them rehearsing the Wheein "crazy clown" line where she is deliberately saying "crazy crown" in a chinese slur to get a laugh. She can pronounce the L in clown. But they liked it and kept it crazy crown, which is how she always sings it. That added dance break at the end of this video is PURE SHOWMANSHIP!! You just don't see performers going that hard (like after the song basically ended too). It's like let's just BLOW YOUR MIND a few more minutes. DUDE! It's a standing Ovation.

I have become so hooked on their music. Purple Hawke has 2 great intros to Mamamoo. Check out Moonbyul-Shutdown, Solar-Spit it Out, Wheein-Easy, Mamamoo-Wind Flower, Starry Night, I Miss You, Any live performances from Award Shows. They are the best female vocal group out of Korea. There are some great groups out there, Dreamcatcher, Red Velvet, G-Idle to name a few, but none of them have every member with this kind if skill.

Got into kpop because of EXO, through them i got to know Mamamoo because both groups have top notch vocals that are very hard to beat. Cannot wait to see ypu EXO guide reaction. Look at the ones by Ceaser o, not sure that's how it is spelled. He has individual guides too. For Mamamoo please do the one by purple Hawke (it's a long guide but, trust me, people will watch your reaction for that long) and also check out the Mamamoo Journey one. Hwasa is a living poster for "how sexy can one human being possibly be",... It's Hwasa. And she totally flaunts it and shows off that 100% female body more than the others. Because a very influential producer once told her to go home because she was too fat and ugly for the stage. Oh yes! Hwasa the baby of the group, is the homely one. Possibly THE most gorgeous creature walking the planet. Only Raquel Welch in the 60s comes close. No one on earth EVERY looked like Hwasa. NOBODY looks that good.

Honestly I only Stan BTS (I do listen to some songs from other groups) and most of the girl groups sounds so similar to me that I don’t really like them. However Mamamoo are awesome and definitely every voice stands out. Their are a lot of songs of theirs that I love listening to. This song I really like until the beat changes and the dance break comes in. The beat just throws it off for me… Killer vocals though.

There are a few groups that are with smaller companies which means they don't have the resources like YG or HYBE or JYP. Because of that the groups that should be world wide are not so their fanbases truly love them. Mamamoo for me as much as I love my LISA are much better than BLACKPINK and before the knives come out I have seen BLACKPINK live twice I bought tickets so I do like them but only discovered Mamamoo recently. Ateez is another group who should be global. Check out a group called BLOCK B again phenomenal and all are in the military at the moment. MAMAMOO is a group for ADULTS not silly little school girls.
