to answer your question at 8:02 when its a showcase like this they already have their songs planned but when its on a gbb stage they go off of eachother just like a rap battle someone does/says something then you have to do something similar and then one up him. one thing that is insane to me is that even thought his songs are planned for this event he still has to make them on the go and HE'S DOING IT WITHOUT HEADPHONES/EARBUDS WTF!!!!!!(also the first and third songs are originals of his they are on his spotify they are called pyramids(1st) and the wolf(3rd) he also has a song called street lights and its amazing)

I believe the term you were looking around 12:00 for is syncopated. It basically means off-beat, but it's the musical terminology for it. I also enjoy those type of beats, the play back and forth between what's on the main beat and what occurs during the off-time.

By the way MB14's routine are synonymous for having less effects. All from the mouth. It has been a few years where looping has become clouded with a lot of effects but it sounds fire tho. However, MB14 is just another level along with Saro for pure beatbox looping. Absolutely amazing musicality.

In a battle it's hard to fine tune everything on the loopstation and make a complete track because you only have three minutes to do it, which MB14 is really good at. These showcases, MB14 has all the time in the world to fine tune his music into full, well polished tracks at any length he so chooses.

@@Hey_Jamie it’s different styles I think. Definitely a feat to create all the sounds by just the mouth/voice, but manipulating the sounds on the machine to sound like Saro, or Frosty, also takes an insane amount of talent and effort.
