the back story behind this song is so tragic. she was seriously physically abused by her ex-husband Dr. Dre. he was even beating her while recording this track because she wasn’t feeling good and she wasn’t singing up to his standards and i believe she was even pregnant at the time. he beat her so badly that he broken her nose twice and shot at her. she deserves so much better and i hope dre get some good karma

And it make you wonder when did we leave this path of good music to what your listening to now. You tell me do they sing it now, like we sung it back then. And you still have not scrap the surface yet of all our music back then, stay on this journey Satori to rediscover your roots in Black music. This is going to be a wonderful journey and when you have listen to everything we can send you, then the best part you can turn back around and listen to it all over again, because it ain't going anywhere, it never did, just was buried, but now you have dug it up., a wonderful treasure of good music.
