3:05, In Amsterdam where I first tried the "Hallucinogen Class" , Shrooms themselves were already gone but they sell what they call "truffles" . They're basically the sclerotia or "fruit" part of the shroom and are supposedly weaker. They did the switch I think in 07. 1st time was....interesting". I met some fellow travelers at my hostel and we went to the park in the evening. We were very VERY silly, got easily distracted by things we felt were interesting, mostly because we tended to notice the smaller details in random things that people tend to overlook in "normal" life. If that sounds a little confusing here's an example: when we were walking in the park there are willow trees. At a "normal" glance, it's just a tree trunk, nothing special, but on our trip from like 20ft away we could see the texture of it.. how rough the surface is, the way the bark grows in these raised lines and run up and down the surface like little channels. The edges of things become more defined, so you actually notice the LITTLE things, your brain searches for patterns in objects, like we do when we see shapes in clouds. That's what our brains always try to do, the psilocybin just cranks it up from a 4 or 5 to maybe 9-12 for a few hours. And when you come down you're pretty fine and you can feel like your perspective on...well everything, is widened. I found some personal growth in it, just be in a calm, , cool and chill setting, eat and drink like a half hour before doing it or you might get mild stomach cramps, but that's good advice for doing anything. disclaimer: I'm not telling anyone to do this, just relaying MY experience. lol

I went in 2001 when they were still legal and you would buy them at a "Smart Shop".. they came from a refrigerator, and you could buy different strains depending on how strong of a trip you wanted. They came in a cellophane wrapped package, 1 big mushroom, and 1 smaller one. Nice clean trip, I enjoyed it immensely. And later that day I went back to the shop to see if they had anything to give me some energy for the night, and they gave me some 'herbal ecstasy' that contained stuff that was illegal in the US, but legal in the Netherlands, and it definitely gave me some life to have a good night.

I don't think you can die from it... you'll definitely have a bad time, but nothing life threatening. If you have a bad trip, drink orange juice to help negate the effects. I learned that from buying shrooms at a smart shop in Amsterdam back in 2001, when shrooms were still legal there. They actually give you instructions with your mushrooms, lol.

@@hgriff14 22 pounds of shrooms. Eat 22 pounds of anything and you'll probably have problems. I had wild teen years, never saw anyone OD on 'cid or shrooms, despite MASSIVE amounts ingested. Only one hallucinogen put me in the hospital (not really needed, they did nothing)... abundance of caution from my mom. She must have thought that my introducing her to the floating people in the house was weird or something.

An old dead head once told me the best thing about shrooms is no matter how many you eat you'll come down. Be careful though. It's I wild high and could be too much if u try to tackle them like a pro for your first time. Also depending on how potent it is you won't hallucinate. It's just a strong high that makes you feel like you're vibrating and colors brighter
