NCT U does not really have a "sound", their sound IS NCT, it perfectly represents the "neo culture technology" sound that NCT is very proud to have. No two songs are the same, but this is the vibe you're more likely to find with NCT U, NCT 127 and some WayV songs. NCT U is a rotational unit and every song released by them consist of a different lineup of members pulled from the 26 members in NCT's roster and across the 3 main units. The members in this song are Taeyong (from 127 and the leader of NCT, pink and blue hair with the grills, 2nd shirtless guy with tattoos ), Ten (WayV, blonde, 1st shirtless guy with tattoos), Doyoung (127 & DJJ, longer black hair with the red bandana), Jaehyun (127 & DJJ, black and blonde hair), and Mark (127 & Dream, short black hair, one of the main rappers). This is the same lineup that debuted the concept of NCT in 2016 with the song "The 7th Sense", them returning for "Baggy Jeans" was a big deal as it's been 7 years since we got this exact lineup. I highly suggest listening to this whole Golden Age album, it was incredible, amazing songs and very creative lineups. I think NCT U is most appreciated when you've learned or are familiar with the main units (127, Dream and WayV) sounds and can then understand how things change and how members are utilized differently when they get to mix and match, but either way it's a good time!

This NCT U--which changes configuration based on the project--is the "Founding Fathers" of the entire NCT franchise. Most went on to be in NCT 127. Mark is also in Dream and Ten is now in Wavy. U used to be the unit rookies "graduated" into when NCT was still evolving.

Have you heard of RIIZE ? *About RIIZE (Pronounced as "Rise")* : RIIZE is a boy group under SM Entertainment. The group is composed of 7 members : Sungchan (Former NCT member), Eunseok, Shotaro (Former NCT member), Sohee, Seunghan, Wonbin and Anton (Maknae). They dropped a PRE-DEBUT Performance Video called 'Siren'. They also released their PRE-DEBUT MV called 'Memories'. They debuted on September 4, 2023 with 'Get A Guitar' MV.
