The days of "Oops, I did it again", "Real Slim Shady", "Country Grammar", "Larger Than Life" and "Bye Bye Bye" on REPEAT on TRL with Carson Dailey was the Summer jam! Like...it's one thing to not have listened to it by-choice, but even in passing, you had to have lived under a rock in the early 2000's to not have heard some of the biggest songs ever of that time. Bye Bye Bye catapulted the "No Strings Attached" *NSYNC album to the fastest selling album of all time until I think Adelle beat the record in the early 2010's. Also, the name of the groups is pronounced "In Sync." Like they're "in sync" with each other. N-SYNC. The name is actually an acronym made up of the last letters of each of their first names (is). N - Justin, S - Chris, Y - Joey, N - Lansten (okay, so the bass was originally a guy name Jason but he quit early on and was replaced by Lance Bass who they nicknamed "Lansten" so that they could keep the N), and finally C - JC. Just a fun fact. :)

I stumbled across this video and being a HUGE NSYNC fan, I had to watch. I love how enthusiastic you are when listening to this song. It made my heart happy. The reason they’re called NSYNC (like n sink) is because each letter represents the last letter in their first names (Lance wasn’t an OG member so his name is replaced with someone else. N (Justin) S (Chris) Y (Joey) N (Jason - this guy was before they even released their first single) and C (JC). Please listen to the rest of their stuff; Pop is my fave NSYNC song. I was a teenager when they were at the height of their career as a group and they provide me with some of my happiest memories. I miss them.

This album was after they broke with their manager who was stealing all their earnings along with Backstreet Boys. Also Chris Kirkpatrick in this group plays Chip Skylark in the Fairly Odd Parents. Info dump from what I've gleaned over the years: JC (the guy who sang the first verse for those who are unfamiliar with the band) did try to become a solo artist, however it was the same time all the promoters were set on promoting Justin, JC got swept under. When his song "Blowin' Me Up (with Her Love)" for the movie Drumline came out, there was some serious buzz about him doing a second solo album, which he freely admitted he hadn't been thinking of at the time, however the second album, believed to be called Kate or If you See Kate (I believe this was 2007) he walked away from it. There's several (and I mean like nearly the full album's worth) of the songs I've found here on KZbin. Some of them have been picked up by other artists-for example "Teenage Wildlife" is now on AJ McLean's solo album "Have It All". Glossing over his few TV appearances and judging on "So You Think You Can Dance", JC has since gone on to work behind the scenes and has even started up *not sure that's the right word* a girl group called Girl Radical. He says he's more content behind the scenes. Which to me is an absolute shame. His voice talent is amazing.

Yep! This is where Justin Timberlake started, as a member of NSYNC. The album this song is from, "No Strings Attached," remained a record-setting album for 15 years until it was eventually dethroned by Adele in 2015. Still, that's a long time to hold the crown. 👑 They had broken up in the early 2000s, and Justin became a solo artist.
