I really enjoyed the fact that you have musical knowledge . To many people do these reaction videos and have no idea what they’re listening to . There’s a long Journey into a Opeth . I suggest your next step to be Harlequin forest

Hey I was a huge fan of the Dream Theater reactions, glad you're getting back around to my kind of music! Another great Opeth song to react to is Deliverance, and another band like these two that I'd love you to see is Haken. You should check out Visions (L-ive, my favorite) and Crystallized. Keep it up!

Hey. Really liked your reaction. Opeth is one of my favourite bands. Please react to Lotus Eater from the Watershed record. Keep it up 🙂👍

Good videos so far man, if you want to hear more of Opeth and enjoy the live videos, I would suggest Harlequin Forest live at the Royal Albert Hall. If you are up for more good music imo, I have a few suggestions too. First is Caligula's Horse, Graves for some prog with all clean vocals. Next is Beyond Creation - Earthborn Evolution for some technical death metal; these guys are all masters of their instrumets. And one of my favorite bands, Ne Obliviscaris - And Plague Flowers the Kaleidoscope, live in Denver, CO for another band with cleans and growls, but from two vocalists; they have other great songs, but I love the live video so you can see how all of the members work. Enjoy, even if you only get to these off camera.

You absolutely have to check out Burden or the whole Heritage album by them. Heritage is their more folky jazz fusion album and it’s a masterpiece, but all of their stuff is great!
@radicalstanza36144 жыл бұрын
Heritage is the weakest of their prog rock era releases, so definitely don't do that, imo.
@Taunic4 жыл бұрын
@@radicalstanza3614 I'd hard disagree there, the musicianship and feel to that album is magic.

That growls/screams are not inhale its all exhale. You do it with breathing from the diaphrame and a lot of breath control/technique. And to be honest inhales kind of suck.
@smittycal4 жыл бұрын
Thanks for that. I know there’s a technique to it so you don’t kill your vocal chords lol. But I can see where that would suck. Especially if your trying to do it through multiple songs

@@smittycal i mean not to be against people doing inhales, but i think it kind of sounds like a vacuum cleaner sucking up water 😂

@@smittycal if you want to check out mikael full scream/growl i suggest old bloodbath they are a death metal projekt, with martin axenrot (opeth drummer) and mikael (singer). Now they have a different line up but its still worth checking it out. Opeth are still touring and i catch them everytime i get the chance, always worth it, personally im blown away everytime. Greetings from germany.

It must be me but I'm not a huge fan of this show. The roundhouse tapes concert is the best live opeth imo, Mikael's growls were on point

What lol. I mean it is kind of foreboding but there is a lot of musical ability there. Just my .02 cents of course
