LED ZEPPELIN was the first concert I ever went to when I was 15 yrs old in 1978. You couldn't fit another person into the stadium when they played. It was fun!! Jon Bonham was one of the best drummers, ever. He died in 1980 at 32 yrs old (accidental death...such a tragedy).

I saw them in Houston Texas back in 1969. This is one of the songs they perform and it rocked the house. What a memory. Tickets were $6.00. Jimmy page the guitarist was in his teens at the times , and the drummer was phenomenal. Plant has an an amazing voice. Led Zeppelin was from England. Notice they are not using vulgar words, but more creative with their words. What a thrill.

zeppelin were trash. paige and bonham had talent but the facts are the facts and the fact is they stole almost every hit song they ever had. they've been sued multiple times by other bands for stealing their songs. you can look it up on KZbin their hours of videos showing the songs they've stolen. if you're that talented you dont need to steal from others

The concert is from 1969…..54 years ago. But then again, their music always was about 50 years ahead of it’s time. I feel like they are timeless ! People that are huge rock fans say Bonham was arguably the greatest drummer ever, and the same is said about Robert Plant on vocals, and Jimmy Page on guitar. Their raw talent was overwhelming !

I don't think this is a single concert but excerpts from several different concerts over time, judging from the band members' different appearances throughout the video. The settings also change from outdoor to indoor venues.

I miss living in an era of popular music where acts were valued for their musicianship, songwriting, creativity, and talent... not their attitude, tattoos, and social media presence. From 1968-72, Led Zeppelin was forging new ground with every new album. As much as I love their stuff from "Physical Graffiti" on, the stuff on their first 5 albums was ripping open the genre of blues-based rock and roll. Nobody could touch them.

I started listening to Led Zeppelin a long, long time ago! My best friend and I would listen to Led Zeppelin, and Steppenwolf in grade school back in 1969-70! My mom didn't approve of us listening to them! Uhh...the meaning of the song was exactly what you thought it was...plain and simple!!! As for this specific concert...it's hard to know...but they were so popular...their concerts were always sold out. I was too young at that time...I'm only 64...so you are probably looking at folks in their early to mid 70's who went to their concerts. You might find some in their late 60's who were in high school who saw them in concert! Did you already react to "Stairway to Heaven?" That song is 50 plus years old and is still being played on the radio....it's timeless! After you get through with listening to these guys, you need to listen to Jimmy Hendrix!

That was awesome!!! As others have said "back door man" was the guy who came in the back door as the husband left out the front.... HOWEVER, with Led Zeppelin (and a lot of "Rock" lyrics) it's a double entendre.... it was a way to sneak the "naughty" into the songs..... you got the meaning correct!! 😉😁😂 If you want another "Fun" song (every Zep song is phenomenal).... check out "THE LEMON SONG".... It's a killer tune and you'll REALLY get a kick out of the lyrics in that one too!!!! Great reaction and LOVE seeing your appreciation for these legends..... looks as though you're starting to understand why they're considered legends now!!! 🤗 P.S... this song was released in 1969 and the footage in the video was a compilation of footage from a few different co concerts from the early 70's... 😎

Some of the footage was shot at Madison Square Garden in 1973. The crowd was more than likely around 18000. Almost all videos of Led Zeppelin were remastered by Jimmy Page using studio recorded music showing live video footage. To include the entire live movie The Song Remains the Same. For those fans of Led Zeppelin if you look closely you will see that most footage was shot in the studio and portrayed as live concert footage. Totally understandable given the year and the fact that John Bonham died in 1980. Great job on the commentary by the way absolutely fantastic. Joseph Alexander Milne. J.A.M. . . . ~
