Never heard the rap artist, but thanks to these guys nowadays reacting to the music of my youth. it's like experiencing them for the first time all over again. Since I'm a baby boomer, all of my sisters and I made certain our children came up hearing every record you played from back in the day, and the grandchildren hear them now, it's a requirement! Yes Rhonda, the youngsters are humbled when they realize many artists of today borrow or sample tracks from artist work of the past. Many rap and hip-hop artists cannot sing, they can't play an instrument, don't have any knowledge of music, melody, harmony, arrangement or composition. This is why the "music" of today is and sounds bad. Lots of younger people don't know what good music sounds like.
