Shinedown is lead singer Brent Smith, guitarist Zach Myers, Eric Bass on bass and Barry Kerch on drums. They had a 20 year catalog of material and currently have the most #1's on the active rock charts. I've seen (& shot photos of 6 of their shows for a radio station- I'm a photographer) Super cool guys!

This band is phenomenal. Truly top top top shelf music for 21 years and counting. You can literally click on any random Shinedown song and it's going to be a really good song. Not only are the legends, the band Spiritbox would not even exist, because Shinedown got wind that Spiritbox was having bad financial problems, and Shinedown gave them like 40 thousand dollars to help them. It doesn't get much better than Shinedown.

My understanding is the little girl is the younger sister of the widow who was also abused which lead to her monsters and her cheating on her husband while he was deployed where he ended up dying.

I always thought the lady at the funeral is the younger girl grown up. She walks away with the dad at the end. Never escaping him. She looks back at her older self like please say something or try to stop this and save us.

You need to watch the sequal song (so to speak), "Get Up", subbing not only because your reaction was awesome, shinedown is such an amazing band. if you get a chance look into the smith and meyer sessions. btw also becuase that is the exact same shirt I wore the day my son was born....except I cant fit it now
