Sierra is really coming into her own as well as her band. I havent seen her live but own both her albums and play them frequently

She writes most of her songs. And she has a major following. She just did the Jimmy Kimmel show, was at Newport Folk, and is in demand everywhere. She has no equals.

Sierra Ferrell's band members are Oliver Bates Craven on fiddle (also a great guitar player), Geoff Sauders on the upright bass, Joshua Rilko on mandolin. She has just released a new album titled Trail of Flowers. They are amazing live. Just a few short years ago Sierra was busking on the streets of New Orleans, living in a van going from town to town. She is getting noticed! She's recently sold out The Ryman in Nashville (both nights) and this last year performed at places like the Fillmore and Red Rocks.
