40 oz one of the greatest albums all time!! Amazing music but that was a rough stretch. I remember feeling like I won the lottery but someone stole all the money when Brad died. A few months later it was Tupac, then Big ... Just think of what could've been. Or if they did a collab with Em (a real one, not was they put together posthumously).

Great reaction. You expressed everything that happened to me when, as middle-aged white mom, I first heard this song. All of a sudden I'm driving down my suburban street singing out loud words that the other soccer moms would likely not approve of: "Believe me when I say that I've got something for his punk ass!" LOL. I bought the CD, told my teenage son "Yanno, I think I'd like to see this band." Eyeroll: "Mom, he's dead." His voice was COMPLETELY into every word of this song. He hit every note and enlarged on every note to its true potential. Genius. RIP.

Do a reaction to “Badfish” by Sublime, and a reaction to “D.J.s” by Sublime Live At The Palace”. Actually, you should watch that whole concert. “Sublime Live at The Palace October 21, 1995”. It’s their best live video recorded show they ever made I believe, and they bring mad trippy reggae vibes in that concert. Especially when they perform “Caress Me Down”, Brad forgot the lyrics, and he just made up some on the fly, and his reggae guitar style and effects were on point! Sublime is my favorite band hands down. You need to watch that concert😎🌴🌅🎸

What a seductively funky song, that nonchalantly draws the listener in for a nice little joy ride in a dark, violent world. The music and vocals are so smooth, but the lyrics tell a different story. Unfortunately, so many don't make it off the ride. Brad Nowell died at 28 of an overdose prior to the release of the album which is so famous, Sublime. Love the song, despite the dark undertones. Look up the defination of "santeria" if you aren't familiar with it, just for kicks.
