I grew up in the 70's, in a time when people wrote great music, played all their instruments, no auto tune or auto correct. The music from the 70's, 80's, and 90's is the music I grew up with, each decade. 70's 7-16 years old, 80's 17-26, 90's 27-36. Love these decades! Check out Taking It To The Street. This is _not_ the original "Long Train Runnin'." This is called the Club Mix and it came out about 25 or 30 years after the original, which was on 1973's The Captain and Me album. That is their greatest album. Period. Please react to "Dark Eyed Cajun Woman" from the same album. Some of the greatest blues you will ever hear! You won't be disappointed! 🎸🎸🎸👀💘😉👌

Hey man, glad you dug the song but this was NOT the original. It's some kind of modern remix with electronic beats thrown in. You need to listen to the original studio album from the mid 70s. Honestly this remix is terrible. It has removed all the soul and groove of the original.

They have it all like many bands of that era: true singers, true instruments, harmony, rythm, melody,, etc. Live shows are as good as recording sessions, even better. Hip-hopers and rappers: just a bunch of losers bullshitting music where all is fake.
