I love the Go-Go's!! If I remember correctly Belinda, the lead singer was 20 or 21, Jane, Kathy, and Gina were around that same age, and Charlotte, the blonde, lead guitarist, was 24 or 25...she was the oldest. They're still touring!

1:48 They were in their 20s. And they were anything but fresh. These were hard girls straight from the punk scene. At the time they met, co-founders Belinda Carlisle was performing as Doty Danger and Jane Wiedlin as Jane Draino. When asked if Kathy Valentine could pay bass, she lied and said yes. She then locked herself in a hotel room and went on a 48 hour cocaine bender and taught herself. They're the first all-female group to write their own music and preform their own instruments and to have a debut album, Beauty and the Beat, go #1. It's a record they still hold today, 42 years later.
