The place use to packed sold out with women..❗❗ When your girl was hoing to a Tom Jones concert with her friends all you needed to do is drive them and puck them up. @@ericlevi5729 since they've brought back a few retro game shows, perhaps some future lyricists/singers can bring back this style of music/entertainment. We know they're out there, we've seen them on talent shows. In the case of Sir Tom Jones, there aren't too many, if any I can think of, who still command that such a stage presence, knows how to dance, has the looks, charisma, humor, remains cool and hip, has performed with hundreds of performers for many decades, of different styles, age groups, and STILL doesn't fail to impress. I'd say he was doing something right, eh? He is a legend. I wonder how many of the current or future crop of singers/performers will be able to say THEY had a career that lasted 60 yrs.??...hmmmm?? Totally love the man.

This song was a hit in 1967 I was 9 years old at that time. What a fantastic voice and he could belt out those notes. My sister had such a crush on him she damn near had a coronary. Tom had a lot of swagger back then and still does as of today.

I'm from Wales, I lived in the former mining town of Bargoed ( Bar - goyd) which is not far from where Tom lived. Before Tom hit the big time he tried asking out my friends mother, she turned him down, said she didn't like his attitude!! Bet she regrets that now, she went on to marry a local business man. Side note: I was having dinner with a colleague in a Philly restaurant one night and Tom Jones walked in and sat at the table next us! I just couldn't believe it! I have been to many of Sir Tom Jones concerts in my time, recorded him. My dream was to get one kiss. Hes 81 and still has that magic in his voice. No one comes close to him. And he has his own moves to girlfriend.. he will always be my favorite! You my dear have a nice strong voice as well. Bet Tom would tell you the same. Have fun listening to The Best!

I remember when he had a TV show. He was popular with some folks, like as my aunt. But, he never really appealed to me. At the time, my favorite group was the Berlin Philharmonic Symphony Orchestra and my favorite song writer was a fellow named Ludwig Von Beethoven.
