They did cute and energetic concepts their first years, it may not be your style but let me tell you, they have the catchiest songs in K-Pop (three song of the year at MAMA confirm this), so you can hear their latest stuff which is more 'mature' and get to know them (Cry For Me which is a song for fans, no MV) or watch their early stuff and see them grow through the years. And yes they are seniors of ITZY. Thanks for the reaction!

If you really do not like too girly stuff, you probably need to think Twice before checking out all their earlier MVs ( mostly cute, girly and fun, but super iconic and catchy). They were very young girls then, so nothing wrong with them being girly, unlike some groups who were forced to do matured / sexy concept way before they become adults. Many international fans had same views as you (do not like cute / girly stuff), but many of them changed after encountering Twice... :-) Twice started switching to more elegant / less bubbly concept around late 2018 (some say early 2019 with Fancy comeback) when the youngest turns adult (20 in Korean age). BTW, they are the older sister of Itzy, and Chaeryeong was eliminated in Sixteen (so do Chaeyeon of Izone, and soloist Somi & Natty).

I think sometimes I'm cool with cute and girly but only after I get to know the group... I know that sounds weird, but it's hard for me to invest Interest in cute concepts, but if I'm already invested then I thoroughly enjoy them... But that's how I was with Red Velvet too... I started only liking the Velvet or darker/mature side... But now their fun Red songs are some of my fave

Try checking out some of TWICE's Japanese releases as well if you're interested in hearing a more mature sounding, edgy and sassier side to them. Breakthrough, and Fake & True would be a good start.

Oh awesome, i love japanese releases from kpop groups they usually show a different side of the group.... are those japanese only releases or songs that have been redone into japanese?

@@BestFriendsReact The two I mentioned are original Japanese only releases, but they also have several Japanese versions of their Kpop titles as well if you want to dive into them. TWICE also recently started recording English versions of their main title tracks starting with last year's release 'More & More' including 'I Can't Stop Me' 'More & More' is a bit on the girly feminine side, but nothing extremely bubbly or cutesy. The song has a nice beat change/drop during the dance break, and a lot of fans have deemed it Coachella worthy so try checking it out as well.

@@captain_y0da oh nice, i like to take songs in their first lang first, then check out different versions, so if its in korean, id rather do that first. Yeah so far they seem awesome... and i think once you get to know a group more you are more open to like songs that you might not have thought you would.. I did that with Red Velvet... at first it was just the velvet songs... now Happiness is one of my faves.... but i wouldnt have liked it if it was the first song i heard by them...... weird to explain, but im sure you know what i mean lol

It's all about the initial feeling development and connection between the artist and listener if that makes any sense lol. Anyways, happy listenings and I can't to see more from you!
