You're not alone about the feelings that Re Aoharu gives, the first time listening to it I had that same emotional experience I'd describe as "We all rise back up even stronger". I felt the same mixture of hope and melancholy listening to the track, and I didn't know anything about the story then. It's incredible how music can make you feel in specific ways, amazing musicianship! Edit: I'm no musician, just a listener. Though I'm trying to understand how such a specific feeling is portrayed in the ost. Might have something to do with the melodies descending 3 times before 1 ascend. Strange that it's the part where it does 3 ups 1 downs where the uplifting emotions come, could be the beats getting higher.

I really recommend you to watch Blue Archive PVs, 1, 2, 3 and 4 mostly. Those are snippets of what the main story or events will be about. But you can still watch them, even if going absolutely blind to the game itself. And, if you ever play the game and read its story, you can revisit the PVs, and know how much differently they'll hit. One of them, specifically. I really crave that you experience what I did, because this story is too wonderful

Blue Archive is a Game that released Globally in Nov 2021, and had an anime this past anime season. The track that Gura covered is "Target for Love" from the game's 1st PV. You've actually reacted to the Anime's OP already. I highly recommend continuing this as a Blue Archive series. OST tracks 1 and 2, Constant Moderato and Luminous Memory, are fan favourites.

Blue archive is a gacha game with an anime that just finished season 1. What songs mean to me Unwelcome school: something crazy is happening and we get to watch it play out Re aoharu: "Sensei, we believe in you, so believe in us students." In blue archive you are a sensei who guides the students who are bullet proof cause of their halo's above there head and blue archive lore. The story is f'ing amazing and you should play it.

Blue Archive is a mobile game created by Nexon that released back in November of 2021. And currently has an anime adaptation of the main story, namely the part of the story where Sensei/The Player is interacting with the Foreclosure Club to save their school. You can find episodes of the anime being uploaded to the official KZbin Channel with English Captions. Now then, the Song Unwelcome School is often associated with Problemsolvers/Handyman 68. A group of four students that "does the crime is you got the dime". Their leader is the adorkable Aru who is trying her best to be a hard-boiled criminal. And regarding Re Aoharu, that's a different rendition of the song Aoharu.

First of all - everything you've seen and heard is only from the game. There is an animated series (now), but those images were only from the loading screen of the game. But there are great PVs as well, that have very nice animations with the OST playing along. RE Aoharu is actually played alongside PV4, which might give you some context to what the song is representing. I highly recommend checking those PVs out, they are very well made. Unwelcome School is the most wenn known theme of the game, I guess. The song is played when a group of kind-hearted, pretending to be "villains", people do something and things start to go haywire. So it makes sense for it to be humoristic and chaotic at the same time. What I like about it is the rising intensity, which kind of represents how one mistake balls into even bigger problems along the way - things that you neither expected nor wanted to happen.

Oh neat, Blue Archive content. You pretty much nailed the vibes of the songs. Unwelcome School is wild and chaotic that plays during some wacky and crazy moments within the game (one of several songs for this type of context). RE Aoharu is absolutely sad and uplifting. It's main context is as the theme for the 4th PV (which on it's own caused people to lose their shit) where the imagery used was 100% "Shit's going down, but we're fixing it". For Other BA recommendations, Theme 158 (Gregorius Symphony, one of the Raid themes), Theme 159 (Operation DOTABATA, an event theme), Theme 167 (Hidden Treasure, Another event theme) are all worth a listen and some of my personal Favorites. The Song Gura covered was Target for Love which, iirc, was for a global exclusive promotional video. Still waiting on more Touhou reactions, as well. :)

listening to RE Aoharu without context (PV 4) and not a normal Aoharu version first is weird to me lol Gura covers an opening to their old OVA anime. Most of the OST doesn't have vocals but they're really good As the other comment said, if you want to know the vibe of the game story, check the PV 1-4 at least (there's also 4.5 and 5 if you want to see more) the PVs are short, around 2-3 minutes

Blue Archive is both a game and an anime. The game, which is a gacha, was released all the way back in 2020 and was drastically different from the current version, having less content and a ton of bugs. Since then, the Global version released and it's gotten a large following (some normal and some, let's say, questionably crazy) The anime released just recently and ended this June. It adapts the Chapter 1 and 2 of Volume 1 and brings back all the original actors of the characters, while also introducing new voices for mostly NPC characters

Most asian games are easier to make more "anime-esk" like games because it limits to that technically, panels or sprites of said characters with different alts to represent emotions or different actions. Sometimes they would go a little bit further by doing small animations to make it looks more "vivid" (like blinking eyes, swaying to the sides, etc). The difference statrts when the gameplay begins where they won't be able to keep the anime like style for what they want to do, unless it's some turn based game or similar that does not require the characters from moving or doing much unless necessary at the minimum (like FGO kinda)

She's basically the so-called leader of a student crime group called Problem Solver 68. She has a passion for crime but the situations she and her group gets into gets silly and wacky, hence the song
