*The 80's was the era of big hair. It was rare that anybody wanted straight hair back then too. If you didn't have a natural curl to your hair, ppl got spiral perms. Regular perms just made your hair curly, but spiral perms gave you more of a cool wavy look like you see in a lot of the 80's rock videos.*

David and her never had kids together, but they did in both of their next marriages.a,and they stayed friends till her passing from Cancer. She was a free spirit and 🏄♀️. Please show more. Slide it in is a good song, but I think all of them are. Much love to you and your family 💕Brandi Modrak 💕❤💙

Hahaha true. I have naturally curly big hair so I never had to curl it or make it big. One of my friends had straight, fine hair and she was always getting perms and they would only last a few days 😂 We used a lot of hairspray back in the day

You are not wrong about the hair! Big hair was a thing, our hair could NOT be big enough 😂 A product from the 1950s and 1960s that our Mothers had used started becoming popular again, it was called “Aqua Net” hairspray. The ladies in the sixties used it for styles such as the “beehive” hairdos. I think the hair bands on the Sunset Strip may have started using it first. It was soon available in every store again but you had to buy “extra super hold” 😳 or it wouldn’t make your hair gigantic 🤣 Tawny Kitaen was gorgeous! Her and David Coverdale(the lead singer) lived down the road from my husband and I when my son was born.

We grew up in a time where you were looked down upon if you didn't have short hair. It was rebellion and in times of old long hair was a sign of a free man. We never imagined after getting all the grief for having long hair that just 2 generations later guys started wearing their hair like my grandpa.

David Coverdale ❤️. Amazing hair. Both of them. Big hair was the thing. The girl is not doing gymnastics! She is saying …. come on baby! Tawny Kitaen, later married David but only for a few years. She moved on to drugs, David became hugely successful. She actually dated OJ Simpson, while he was still married. Tawny passed away in 2021, at just 59. RIP. Whitesnake was the last concert I went to before Covid. I’ve seen recent live performance video. Age catching up with David’s voice. But back in the day, his voice really insane. Eye candy, for sure! This song was released in 1982 it was on their second album "Saints and Sinners" they rereleased the song on their album Whitesnake 87 and they took the word "Hobo" out of the song. The original chorus was "And here I go again on my own Goin' down the only road I've ever known Like a hobo I was born to walk alone". David Coverdale changed the word "Hobo" to "Drifter" in the 1987 version cause people thought he was saying "Homo"

Before lead singer David Coverdale formed Whitesnake in the late 70's... he was hired as the lead singer Of Deep Purple in 1974 (After a chasm in the band left both singer Ian Gillan and bassist Roger Glover out in 1973) and would share vocal duties w/ bassist Glenn Hughes on 2 big records - 'Burn' and 'Stormbringer' (both in 1974)... However, after guitarist Ritchie Blackmore quit in 1975, Deep Purple recorded 'Come taste the band' in '75 w/ (late) guitarist Tommy Bolin, but the band inevitably split in 1976. Determined to carry on making music, David Coverdale recorded a solo album and then formed Whitesnake and toured successfully in Europe and Asia... Coming to America w/ Whitesnake in 1986 after a number of Whitesnake albums were recorded... Coverdale re-worked some of their songs for this 1987 'Whitesnake' album. The band on the record was John Sykes (guitar), Neil Murray (bass) & Aynsley Dunbar (drums)... but Coverdale fired them & toured w/ a new line-up in this video - Adrian Vandenburg & Vivian Campbell (guitars), Rudy Sarzo (bass) & Tommy Aldridge (drums) ... Vivian Campbell soon left the band in 1988 and joined Def Leppard in 1992. Whitesnake recorded the 1989 album 'Slip of the tongue' w/ guitarist Steve Vai... the band split up in 1991 after a successful tour. David Coverdale recorded an album *Coverdale.Page* in 1993 w/ Zeppelin's guitarist Jimmy Page. He reformed Whitesnake in 2002 w/ new members and kept recording & touring.

Ah yes Tayny Kitaen (RIP), not a gymnast - just a hot ass babe! She was married to Whitesnake lead singer David Coverdale. She was in a few movies as well - most notably Witchboard. She was the only babe poster I had on my wall as a teen back in late 80s and was the source of many many pleasant dreams. The "dancing on his cars" became so iconic it was referenced a few times throughout other songs and TV or movies as a trope. most notably is the song "1985" by Bowling For Soup. Hilariously well doe song for us 50ish year olds ex 80s teens. That whole album in 1987 was HUGE. And yes they all had big hair - hence the trope: "80s Hair Bands" as a subgenre of rock/metal. Other great songs from that album: Still of the Night, Crying in the Rain, Is This Love, Give Me All Your Love

The wardrobe “error” occurs when Tawny Kitaen is outside of the car in the wind while he is driving without a bra. So, you can figure out what the mistake was.
