@@thundernels Exactly. I've been willing to suspend my disbelief for most of Salvo's videos, but he's honestly gone too far with this one. He has CLEARLY heard this song before, because, frankly, EVERYONE over 30 has. His video adds nothing to what we already know, so the unspoken contract is broken. Can't even pretend to be emotional. Poor effort.

I read an interview with Dolly Parton where she told the story of licensing the rights to this song for the movie The Bodyguard. They contacted her early on in the filming process because they knew they wanted to use the song, but Whitney didn't record it for months, and it wasn't released until the movie was out, and by then, Dolly had forgotten all about it. Dolly was driving home from a meeting and the song came on the radio, and she had to pull over to listen to it, because it brought her to tears.

Then I saw her sing this song in the movie, "The Bodyguard" and that allover goosebump feeling came to me again. Whitney's voice is pure, powerful, unique...simply incredible...basically indescribable....a national treasure! Next on the list: "One Moment In Time". Add Whitney to the long list of exceptionally talented gems born in New Jersey - Sarah Vaughan, Dionne Warwick (Whitney's cousin), Cissy Houston (Whitney's Mom), Bon Jovi, Bruce Springsteen, Frankie Valli, Phoebe Snow, and let's not forget FRANK SINATRA - the list goes on and on...maybe it's the air we breathe.here in the Garden State.😏

Whitney had a brilliant voice no doubt. The sheer power of her voice is stunning. It made the movie The Bodyguard a hit. Kevin Costner heard her and had to convince the Hollywood bosses that they needed her for the movie. When you get back to Queen check out the bass player John Deacon’s song: One Year of Love in which Queen creates a gorgeous love song using a saxophone instead of guitar for the instrumental solo. The song reminds me of this one in style. It’s his contribution to the movie Highlander. Freddie Mercury sang his heart out too. ❤
