This is such a fantastic day. Matt has been waiting for months now to get in Nessie and ripper around the sun dunes in San Paulo. Do you guys think that he should be my co-driver for one race? He seems to fit in there pretty well just like a glove. The smiles and laughs and conversations were incredible. Just what we both needed to start off the weekend.

Great adventure on the sand with Matt!! I could tell by the look on his face that he was loving it!! Especially at that stop frame moment on his smile!! YES, I would love to see Matt sitting in the co-pilots seat doing the navigation!! You and the whole gang (You, Matt, Rudy, Paul, Rory, Merlin, Bleeping Jeep, Lite Brite and the rest) should plan a week end trip someplace!! A whole week would be even better!!! That would be so awesome!!

@klm2fm4 Perhaps, but they are an unibody, and racing jeeps really get pounded on! It would require far more reinforcement than anything with a frame! Using one as a fairly extreme rock crawler is not the same as driving them all out on the courses racing jeeps routinely travel.

I am also not a good passenger. I always have to be driving. It's definitely a control issue. It was the hardest thing teaching my kids to drive. My oldest daughter would have you believe that I never let her drive with me, but I have photographic proof. Loved seeing the joy in both your faces! I think Matt needs to turn the reigns over to the crew and be a full-time fun-haver! Although I would severely miss his crazy off-road recoveries.
