Im a Filipina but I still get that overwhelming feeling of awe and amazement everytime I visit Boracay. The blue skies, the sunrise, the sunset, the clouds the boats the sand and clear wate and the palm trees.. so perfect! lifts the soul and heals the mind body and spirit. I remember when Bars in Boracay were really near the shore and fire dancers were everywhere, it was more fun during that time. But due to the lack of discipline of both the local and foreign tourists; trash was everywhere and a sewage with foul smell was going straight to the fresh seawater that's why they started rehabilitating the area and relocated all the beach bars at least 30m away from the beach.

Both of you need to go to OKADA Manila, It's a five star Hotel. but it's like a mall you can go there around. and the fountain. it starts to 7pm, every hour there's a fountain show. it's the world biggest fountain.. so you should visit OKADA. Hope you guys notice this chat..

Philippines has so much to offer when it comes to nature & beaches and We, Filipinos are friendly and hospitable. I realized that Manila and Boracay are more lively at night. LoL! The next time you travel here in the PH, Try visit Batanes (some views here are like NZ where you guys both came from😊) , Baguio, Palawan & Siargao. ❤️❤

I think you were on a beach in Diniwid. I used to go there a lot. Before the island became the mini city it is now, the sand in all its beaches was like white sugar. Boracay was jaw-droppingly beautiful back then.

My favorite is the sunset paraw (sailboats). I would ride that every sunset for 5 straight days if I had the chance. So you ride the boat and head towards the sunset, feel the wind on your face and the sea water splashing all over you. You’ll surely get all wet. You should try it. Look for the blue sails.

Visit ILOILO "the City of Love" in Western Visayas region, it's just a few hours away from the famous Boracay by land and 45 minutes away from Capital Manila by airplane. People in Iloilo, the "Ilonggos" are (malambing or soft spoken) when we talk we're like singing. Iloilo is one of the safest and friendliest places in the country, home of the Best Tourism Event of the Philippines and Queen Festival of the country the Dinagyang Festival held every 4th Sunday of January. Also the site of the oldest golf course in Asia, in the town of Santa Barbara. The city was recently recognized internationally by UNESCO as the Creative City of Gastronomy because of it's unique and flavorful Ilonggo cuisines and in connection to that just months ago our iconic Lapaz Batchoy was awarded by Tasteatlas as the Best offal soup in the World, recently it was even featured at the New York Times Square. Iloilo is definitely a food haven not to miss also is it's roasted native Chicken in Tatoy's Manokan, its seafood especially the grilled Managat fish in Breakthrough Restaurant. Etc. Its great old historical churches like the Miag-ao church the only UNESCO World Heritage Site outside of Luzon (man-made category), Molo Church or feminist church is the only Gothic architecture church in the Visayas and Mindanao. Etc. There are also great old Mansions in the city and many of them are still livable, owned by famous Filipno families like the Lopez of Abs-Cbn broadcasting network, some are converted to museums and restaurants that serves heritage dishes, if you want to discover more about Iloilo's culture and our country's history, appreciate Ilonggo art etc. you can visit the museums around, some are not to far away from each other and some are the first and only one in the Philippines. If you have more time try to check Calle Real or the Royal Street, the only old CBD (central business district) declared as a heritage site by the National Historical Commission of the Philippines after Escolta in Manila, there you can enjoy the famous Roberto's Queen Siopao Etc., but don't forget to try Jo-anns Fishball, probably the best in the country when you visit Molo district right at the Molo Plaza. For Modern vibes you have to be at Mandurriao district it is where the great shopping malls, restaurants and hotels, condos etc., are located especially at the Iloilo Business Park. And lastly don't go home without bringing with you some yummy century old biscuits from Panaderia de Molo Est.1872 the oldest existing bakery in the country, try the famous Barquillos from Deocampos bakery and don't miss the tasty butter scotch and cruchy Biscocho from Biscocho haus. #MyHeartBeatsinIloilo #MeetYouinIloilo
