There are quite a few actors even big ones who use method acting and have openly discussed how hard it is to separate themselves from the character. so it definitely isn't some big insight into how mentally unwell she may be.

All those big name actors aren’t mentally well either just because they look successful. Anyone who says “I’ve chosen to pick a career where I lose myself and can’t get back out but they pay me a lot to be consumed and confused” shouldn’t be considered “well”.
