We're just back from Croatia & Montenegro. We stayed near Dubrovnik in Croatia but Kotor bay can easily be done as one or more day trips if you have a rental car. The only downside is that Croatian border crossings into Montenegro (the Croatian side) are often horribly long so be very early in the morning. Absolutely loved Montenegro. Try the newly opened cable car just outside Kotor as well.

Very beautiful indeed ❤I thought it gave me Venitian vibes(you confirmed this). I can’t blame you escaping as these big cruise ships arrived! It’s tragic to see them pulling back in this pristine tiny bays. I remember being in Venice when this happened… the flow of human overloading San Marco and the locals being angry. As grand and beautiful as these ships are they leave a trail of destruction all over and these tiny gems of cities can’t actually cope with the amount of human all at once so it isn’t even nice for the passengers either… A truly a magnificent destination that I would love to visit as you did on your first day. T/ C sabrina 🇫🇷🇬🇧
@JumpingPlaces3 ай бұрын
yeah we definitely got lucky that when we were exploring there was no cruise and it was also after 4 p.m so the majority of the people doing day trips had left already too. As you mentioned some places don't go well with cruises, especially old towns like this where the alleyways are all tiny, Greece it is problematic also since the majority of the walkways there barely have any space
