As an American who has lived in nyc previously I really feel it is unlike anything else in the country or the world… you guys are great to just show us your excitement… without the negativity of many Americans and international travelers when visiting NYC…. There are certainly some warts on NYC but it truly is along with just a handful of other cities to be a truly world class city

Well, New York City certainly lives up to its expectations. The city night views are dazzling, spectacular and mesmerizing indeed. However, do you guys find the costs of travelling (other than the food) in NYC expensive than any other city in the world? How about the jetlag experience if one is flying from South East Asia for the 1st time? Have not experienced such cold weather yet though. Thank you for the updates. Been waiting eagerly for your uploads! 😁

Oh for sure, New York City is one of the most expensive places in the world and basically everything is expensive. The subway isn’t too badly priced though so it’s an affordable way to get around. All the tourist attractions that require an entrance fee were expensive and accommodation was just crazy unaffordable😭

Hey Rhett and Claire, It sound like you enjoyed Gotham City. Like Batman and Robin. New York can be expensive. If you go into the boroughs (townships) you can find lots of ethnic neighborhoods with great food for a reasonable price. Harriet and I have spent much time there.
