I listened to your latest podcast the other day when I was feeling so anxious I had to lie down for a few hours and it hit on so many levels. I honestly don't like to talk about how great surfing is and promoting it (because there is plenty of people in the water already and it's getting more and more crowded), but honestly..... I totally feel you, surfing is the greatest thing that has found its way into my life and now this is something my whole life evolves around (even though I live so far from the ocean and only get there for 2 months a year). So happy for you, going out on your own is so empowering

I swear I'm not pointing this out to be mean. I would like to say that nobody calls East LA the "Eastside". Only people who are not from California (i.e. the new influencers in town) seem to be the ones calling it that. And that's how places become gentrified- they are given new identities after being settled by newcomers who don't try to understand the cultures already present in the area. Love your content Jenny!
