I'm a big fan of theirs. There's absolutely nothing wrong with their more recent stuff, but I have a real soft spot for some of their earlier music, before they had keyboards and when McDuck was on trumpet as often as he was on guitar (and now they've got a guitarist rather than a trumpeter to stand in for him since he left the band). The conciseness with that earlier sparse instrumentation, the amount they managed to squeeze out of double bass, drums, trumpet and vocals was unreal!

Great song pick. Rachael is awesome. My Lake Street Dive intro was Lake Street Dive in the Studio: Rachael Price Sings "What I'm Doing Here" In One Complete Take. Took me about 10 seconds into the song to be hooked. I'll share your reaction in the Lake Street Dive Fan Club Facebook page.
