As someone who’s parents did divorce when I was a kid, I really do appreciate you setting priorities for putting your kids first, even tho I hope it will never come to it. NF has saved me quite a few times, especially this song and Change. After seeing your first NF reaction and sticking with you, your wisdom as a parent/adult has helped me see life clearer and thru different eyes. Thank you 🙏

Emotional trauma often doesn't happen in one instance or event... it is usually an accumulation things like emotional neglect, physical, or verbal abuse that takes place fairly consistently over a prolonged period of time, and almost always starts at in very early childhood and even heavily impacts the individual's emotional state by early childhood. Teenage years is typically when the unhealthy or negative coping mechanisms used to tolerate the mental health problems like anxiety, depression, low self-worth, or anger/abandonment issues that have begun to cause problematic behavior(s). The problems and emotional stress the child feels is also essentially doubled when the father is absent from the child's life, especially for young and adolescent boys. I appreciate your reaction very much. Best wishes!

Hey bro. Wanted to encourage you and NF if He ever see this. So since listening to NF, I've really had a passion to help people with mental health. So put my faith into action and I applied to Liberty to get my Masters in clinical mental health counseling! Pray that God uses to my past and my gifts to help others. Thanks for all ya do homie!

It was the (riding my bike) park, that hit me after first hearing. I remember. I was never really free and loose, but anxious around anyone, even kids younger than me. I was 30 years old when I first started seeking help. A couple years later I met a church counselor who did something that was more valuable than anyone had throughout those first two years. He introduced me to “Fear”. It changed my life!

The song that you are thinking of when he was talking to his younger self is called ” Nate". This song is such a vibe and so much truth to it! Great reaction! Much love, Ray ❣️✌️

Nate said in an interview before that I Miss The Days was one of the hardest to write on The Search album because of beat. No surprise he nailed it though. 🔥 Another great reaction Ray! Excited for No Excuses, but really excited to hear your thoughts and insights on Like This. It's a top 3 for me.

Awesome reaction and therapy as always. My favourite line in this song 'Give me mind back before it was Hijacked' , mine was taken captive at 9. The chorus really what I wish most people with Mental Illness wish they could have again. Mad Love to Ray and my Family the Vibegang❤️
