The fact that Prof has that vibe that he does, comes up with great production, unique cadences and delivery.....awesome written material.....I STILL want to hear one track where he spazzes out. He has it in him for sure....no catchy hooks, no vibe ass beats.....just straight spittin. I'll say it out loud. When I first started seeing clips of his livestreams where he was giving info about how the collab with Ren was coming along, I was NOT sure what to think. Like, in that environment, he was even stripped of the sound of his music, right? It's just some balding white dude with a cheezy stash in a longsleeve camo-print pullover or some shit, smirking and saying stuff. I was *bewildered* as to what his music would be like. He looks like my ex-father-in-law at a younger age, with a different personality that woulda made the ex-FIL be a *very* uncomfortable person to be around in a "these are my inlaws?" context. I trust Ren's instinct about this shit tho. He's never done a single collab with ANYONE that's not resulted in near-perfection. Now, NOTHING could prepare me for what I would find when I finally got around to checking out Prof's channel! I've landed there after he's put out a number of "Live from The Gallery" videos so that's where I started, and mannnnnn... THIS IS MY SHIT. Super excited for 2024 to be The Summer of Prof. I'm 50, I don't *do* that shit lol. But I'm absolutely feeling his vibe for this summer.
