All of the members of BLACKPINK are aces. They are multi-talented. They all can easily fulfill multiple positions in any K-pop group, and (G-d forbid) could easily be main vocalists if they were in other K-pop groups. Jennie is the main rapper of BLACKPINK primarily because she has been rapping since 12 years old and is the most technical rapper of the group. (You may want to check out teaser video by YG Entertainment showcasing her rap skills at that age.) Solo was her debut solo song. Her best rap, in my opinion, is the Solo Remix that she initially performed for the 2021 BLACKPINK: The Show live stream concert. She penned new lyrics that flows well. With that said, Jennie has an excellent singing voice and sings in a lot of BLACKPINK song. In most than a few BP songs, she has no rap parts, which is odd for a K-pop main rapper. While Jennie could easily be a main vocalist in any K-pop group, Rosé is the main vocalist of BLACKPINK. In my opinion, she has the greatest vocal range of the four members, as well as having an angelic voice. (If you watch enough BLACKPINK reactions, "angelic" is the most commonly used adjective to describes Rosé's singing.) On the Ground is a good song to show case her high notes and there are several YT videos that provide examples on her high notes (and even some of her low notes). Thanks for a great reaction.
