Great video. Im a huge LH fan and it's great seeing someone listen to songs for the first time. I don't even know how to categorize them nor do I want to. They are truly musicians that take you on a journey with errthing they create. Love them. Enjoy!

I loved your video and review of the album! The album is really beautiful and captures a great vibe. Each album really has its own sound but stays true to the LH sound. This one is very tropical or nature-y, Strange Trails is very spooky and haunting, Vide Noir is very atmospheric/celestial, and Long Lost retro/classic. My personal favorite song from Lonesome Dreams is either In the Wind or I Will Be Back One day. Also, Son of a Gun and When Will I See You Again is from their EP that came out before this album, probably why you thought that Son of a Gun felt a bit out of place and why his voice sounded different in the other.

Finally saw them live in Melbourne last week. The music cuts deeper and is much more emotional in person. Ghost on the Shore was my favourite in person.

Great content mate! Definitely an artist you can get long lost in for ages. Not sure if you’ve heard their ‘whispering pines’ releases on KZbin. They’ve revisited a bunch of their songs and added a twist on them including Son of Gun which takes it from zero to hero. Could be worth a listen if you ever fancy. Cheers mate

Love the reaction man. I'd highly recommend listening to their "Alive from Whispering Pines" collection! It's a cinematic episodic version of all of their music. It adds to the lore as well, but the music alone is simply incredible and alternative versions of their music. Would love to see it man!
