Jimin, the solo dancer, trained in modern dance in middle school and high school. He also trained in popping locking and several martial arts. He is an amazing dancer. Not to mention he is stunningly beautiful.

A dancer named Margaret Pugh did a technical breakdown of this choreography, which you might like. She's sensitive to setting, lighting, space, etc. The one whose dance was featured, Park Jimin, has experience and training in street and contemporary dance, and also martial arts (he has a black belt in Taekwondo, and eight years of Kumdo - similar to Kendo - training). I believe his martial arts skills add to his mental focus, physical power, and movement isolations and dynamics.

I thought you might like this one. Jimin was the main dancer in this video and has a load of technical training including contemporary dance and martial arts. For dancing, you might like some of the 3J stuff. J-hope, Jimin, and Jungkook. J-Hope is actually their lead dancer and is also absolutely amazing. Oh, and the one with the intense gaze that you mentioned is RM (NamJoon) he is the leader of the group. He's insanely intelligent and I think that lends itself to his gaze.

You should definitely check out Jimin's solo choreography for this song in the behind-the-scenes, he's such a beautiful dancer!! He was the one with the blue hair and half white and black (feathery) outfit

I will die on the hill that this is the song they should have won a Grammy for but it wasn’t even submitted 🤣🤣 still it’s a technical masterpiece, the instrumental and the video and the lyrical meaning!

Jimin (the solo dancer with blue hair who sprouted wings) was given the feature to be the 'black swan' in this mv, and it makes sense as much of his dance training and dancing influence is in contemporary ballet and modern dance. It was really cute to see the other members hype him up about it too! He embodies this style of dance, but it's also a testament to how amazing BTS really is as a whole - they can make any style and genre their own and all members performed naturally and flawlessly.

This song is about BTS's fear of loosing the passion for music. Idk if you turned on the captions or not but it's vital to watch their music videos with captions on to get the full experience. Also, it's better to pay attention to the full video or you'll miss parts of the storytelling like the shadow in the end.

This song says, “The dancer dies twice. The first death is when the dancer stops dancing. And this death is much more painful,” the legendary contemporary dancer Martha Graham made its motif. Just as a dancer faces his first death when he quits dancing, it contains the fear of the moment when he will no longer be able to stand on the stage as an artist. "The more I do music, the more I fear that music will no longer give me a lot of emotion or trembling, but the moment I face my inner 'Black Swan' from the depths of my heart, I paradoxically realize that there is only music." [Suga] Ayy, they say my heart is not beating no more listening to music Tryna pull up Time seems to have stopped Oh that would be my first death I been always afraid of [RM] If this makes me cry no more If you can't make my heart tremble more How could I ever die like this But what if that moment’s right now right now Ps:Black Swan is my favorite song. When I had to end my 25-year career as a contemporary dancer, I felt the same way, and this song comforted me.

The opulent Los Angeles Theatre in downtown L.A. is a movie palace built in the 1920s and is still utilized for staged events. Jimin, the member featured, is trained in contemporary interpretive dance. Please watch the first original Black Swan MV, featuring the Slovanian Dance troupe with the BTS B Swan instrumental & "hidden vocals".It starts with a quote by Marth Graham, the recognized creator of modern dance. You'll be so happy you watched and listened.😉🫶

Loved your reaction and detailed review. The location is the Los Angeles Theatre (which is a museum now), if I remember correctly. The solo choreo is by Jimin. There’s also a couple of making of videos (one specifically about Jimin’s parts) on their official channel, if you’re interested. They’re all subtitled, too. Also, because l’m curious, did you forget to turn the captions on or did you just prefer to watch this one without them? I have a feeling, that you would have liked the lyrics. Because the choreography expresses the lyrics very accurately, imo.
@zambgwa2 жыл бұрын
Sorry but did you read the lyrics? It's something important about BTS, they always want people to read for their lyrics.
