FUN FACTS: Jimin not only was so generous, as usual, sharing the verses, of his hugely successful song, that he not only wrote the lyrics for, about Tae & his relationship, but also composed the melody for, as well as helped produce. But Jimin said that he also continually texted Tae throughout the writing process just to make sure Tae's parts, his lyrics would meet with Tae's approval, as well as getting input from Tae!! Jimin even gave certain notes to Tae, that Tae himself said he had difficulty in singing at first, but Jimin insisted in keeping them in, even after hearing from the other producers involved that Tae was having difficulty! Jimin had all the faith & confidence in Tae, and sure enough, Tae said that he persevered, he pushed through and sure enough was able to achieve magnificently, those more difficult notes just like Jimin knew he could!!

JIMIN only met Tae after he signed with BigHit entertainment, and moved to Seoul, and proceeded to join BTS in January 12, 2013, just 6 months before BTS debuted! Tae had already signed over a year before! JIMIN was the very last to join not too long before BTS debuted!! It was only then did Jimin live with the rest of the members in that one bedroom apartment they all shared! That's when they both started going to school together. JIMIN before that, attended the first two years of high school in his hometown at the Busan Highschool of the Arts where he was top student since he started there as well as being quite popular!! Jimin gave it all up to go to Seoul after signing with BigHit to finish his last year of high school there. Jimin and Tae continued going yo that high school even after their debut, but wasn't even able to attend their graduation since they were already performing.

I am going to correct your timeline just a tad. In S Korea, high school is for three years, and the schoolyear goes from Mar-Feb. Jimin attended his Busan SOPA for little over a year before passing auditions and becoming a BigHit trainee. He moved to Seoul May 12, 2012 (his stans celebrate on Twitter every year 💜) and it would be around this time that Jimin would have met the future BTS members and befriended V. They would finish out and graduate high school together in Feb 2014 (during the comeback of Boy in Luv).

@Annemay Seyfried IKR?? I can't believe he didn't attend his HS for longer! In that time Jimin did his martial arts week in China, performed that beautiful stage and choreo'ed his teacher's wedding tribute with his classmates... He left such an impression on his teachers and peers! And according to my calculations, he would still be doing TKD to earn his full black belt after turning 16 y-o, before dropping his "normal" life to immerse as an idol trainee! Just wow! 💜

The reason why the dumpling is so huge is because they are supposed to be jumbo dumplings which V loves. The dumpling incident involve V really craving jumbo dumplings lol. Jimin’s little pinky is a known thing and even his hands are small. His pinky is tiny, but if you were to put the height of their pinkies next to each other where the base of where the pinky connects to the hand, it’s not as tiny as it appears when the wrist is lined up. What also shows off the size different is that V has the biggest hand/longest fingers of BTS. It’s adorable that Jimin accepts it and even said “i love you” to his pinky in one of the Bangtan Bombs lol.

As someone who has small hands, Jimin makes me feel better about mine. And I believe this live performance was BangBangCon. This is just so wholesome! It was primarily written by Jimin and he references all sorts of things they have shared with us--including The Dumpling Incident which ended with V videoing a drunk Jimin in a park, but V has never shared that video.

●Some inside info>V was always a little different, in a cute way, so other members called him"alien" Jimin (last to join 2012 went to high school 2gether w/V, always defended him cuz V felt sensitive about it, so the boiiiz stopped), but it's ok between the 2 bffs. They had a fight over eating dum- plings b4 or after practice, when younger, did not talk for 2 days, then had drinks+talked it out, even better friends since..Pinky? Jimin has small-ish hands, V has biggest hands +members often tease Jimin by comparing pinkies *Jimin purposely lowered his hand sothe difference was even bigger!* He puts up w/it but tho sensitive about it, they never stopped tea- sing?? I hadn't realized, till I looked at old vids + at BTS body frames that Tae has the biggest body frame/head/hips/hands in BTS. Tho Jin's shoulder are widest, he's very lean, shorter legs, but looks right, like a swimmer. JK is most muscular but has a smaller frame than V, w/long legs. Jimin's 5'8.5" is just above avg Korean height, so not really short w/perfect lean muscle body proportions/long legs. (Suga + Jimin +JHope have small-ish frames). JHope, who's very lean, has great body proportions/long legs, so does Joon who has really long legs. Somehow they all look amaazing!!😊

8:33 welll Taehyung has giant yaoi hands in real life ahah. Jimin's hand by itself is not too small (17,5cm while Jin's and Hobi's are 18 for example) but his pinky is kinda disproportionately short and chubby to the rest of his hand :) you can also find Jimin comparing pinkies to Jungkook not too long ago and the difference is not that big :> and yeah, for some reason Jimin didn't align the base of their pinkies but the base of their palms so the comparison is kinda skewed - maybe for comedic purpose?

Jimin called Tae Alien bc BTS said he is soooo unique.. Once V had a bad bream and he went Jimin's room to sleep with him ,but jimin was in sleep and he said No to Tae,next day he feel bad and he gives him a dreamcatcher😭 Tae said "Hey Jimin Today" bc in a interview RM said if we are late sometime we said " we are Jimin today" .. may be bc he come late sometime for practice or other thing.. And Dumpling incident , it is funny and interesting... Must watch the video about Dumpling incident Jimin and V explains many time.. This whole song is filled with inside stories. firstly mentioning aboyt sweating: jimin was the last one to join as a trainee, probably they are talking abiyt how other were practicing when he first saw him. When they went to school they were not in same class, so taehyung asked his other class friends to look after him even😭❤️ Dumpling incident is really hilarious, but something definitely best friends would do😂 they both were mischievous kids after all😂❤️ jimin and all bts has told vmin fight for every little thing back then. But jimin told now he feel bad bcz now taehyung so obedient and innocent❤️ hey jimin today is a thing, rm once told jimin is the one to be late always, so you jimin today means you are late today. Alien(im.not sure for what meaning jimin used it here) means at past people used to call taehyung alien/4D bcz he is really unique and charming person.
