The backtrack with the high notes was him, it was pre-recorded. He can also sing opera, he rarely does that but he sometimes does that when he support sings or like in this track he pre-recorded it. His vocal range is also huge, not as big as Dimash but still incredible. Also they did not do any effects on his voice, however there is a backtrack and back vocals. You can hear the vocalists more clearly at some quieter points.

Yes, it felt like they were😔 They really should have the English subtitles to understand the song. It's dealing with very serious issues. I prefer this version to the MV. I find the MV too scary. Hua took a month to write this song and Hua can finish writing a song in the duration of a song!

Hi Frank and friends, this Singer 2020’s sound quality was disappointing. The sound mixer somehow dismissed the best part of this song: the drum beats. The singers in this show performed live but the airing of the show isn’t so it went through post production tweaks, except for the finale. Yes, you’re right that Hua used backing track as the soprano part was his own voice. I believe the orchestra wasn’t fully utilised because the second episode - which this was - was recorded on 10/1/2020 while he only confirmed joining the show at the 11th hour of the 1st episode’s recording on 3/1/2020. It’s like the orchestra didn’t have enough time to practise this song. Same goes to his performance in the first episode which he had to resort to backing track with very minimal orchestra as he arrived for the live recording with just hours to spare, and a brief rehearsal. Pull it off he did. Thanks for sharing with your friends 🙏🙏
