U should listen to hard out here by raye its a song about her old label they wouldnt let her release an album she was on a 4 album deal since 2014 but they was only letting her release a couple songs a year mainly making her feature on dance music and she had to give away her writing to other big artists like beyonce etc instead and leave hundreds of songs in the vault that the label wouldnt let her release. It was the final straw when she had an album she wanted to release in 2021 but because her song didnt perform well enough they wouldnt let her release it she finally got out of the contract with the label in 2021 and went independent and hard out here was her 1st song back. Ive heard some unreleased songs that was meant for that 2021 album and they are so good I hope she revists them for her 2nd album or for a deluxe as there not on the tracklist for her debut album unless they have been renamed
