this performance is from inkigayo. It's like a festival in the arena where Kpop groups perform their songs. The fact that most people in the venue are non fans. I can tell they were flabbergasted 😂 XG's world tour is called "The First Howl". You can check it out in your free time.

💯 They made it a big deal they were on that concert show. All of XG's Inkigayo performances are flawless but I just wish they would stop muting the audience because so many fans show up and cheer for them. I still request reactors do a review of 2ne1's "I am the best" which they did on this stage a year back . People went nuts for their version.

They’re currently on tour. They just finished Japan and yes it’s sold out. They sold out Philippines as well. This is a music festival where many other artists performed. They had time to do this and continue their world tour. These ladies are hardworking Last year, they performed in many other music festivals as well from Dubai, Singapore, Australia to China with huge crowds. I can’t wait for them to come to NYC.

I feel like Woke Up is just a small taste of what XG can do. None of their songs are the same because Hip-Hop and R&B is such a wide genre of different styles. BlackPink is all pop, they're consistent with their sound and so good what they do but XG just hits different while including pop in their catalog.

@@ROXELL what keeps me going back to XG videos are their dances. Winter Without You is the only song that doesn't have any choreography and still they sound too good to give them just a listen to. The backup dancers in this performance are SFW which I only know from Show you Can since XG didn't do a choreography for that song. I really want them to do a choreography for Undefeated but not sure if they're going to be around for the Valorant tournament since they're too busy being on tour.

Their first world tour is on going but this here is like a festival music show with 17-18 kpop groups invited. XG was just one of the group invited to perform. The title says K-wave concert , if it was their concert it would be under their name. So, it does sound like they are performing with a vocal back-up track BUT its volume is turned low so that you can hear their live rapping / vocals shine through. Maya demonstrated that when she intentionally put down the mic briefly to let the backing track play before coming back to her live rapping so that the audience can hear the difference. Often with kpop, the vocal backing track is too loud that you can’t hear their live voices, and I think that’s intentional because its incredibly difficult to get stable singing when you’re going hard on dance moves. Here, XG used backup dancers to do a lot of choreography so that the members can focus on voice stability - and I appreciate that.

They are awesome live, shame they muted the audience in this recording because the audience are going nuts and adlibbing with the group. Their dance practices are on a different level because they treat it as a study to how they gonna look like on stage almost as if they're performing for themselves instead of for an audience. Even though they've performed small venues with other groups, 2024 is their first World tour appropriately call The First Howl. This recording isn't part of their tour though, but a tv broadcast performance on a live variety show. I think it's similar to SNL. My favorite performances so far from their tour is Left Right acoustic guitar remix and the rock version of Shooting Star. It really shows their versatility as artists and not just your average rappers. But their fan favorite is the performance of Hesonoo & X-Gene which is a ny drill mixed with expressionist dance.

It's common for new groups until they get their breath and rhythm. They have performances where they didn't even bother with a show performance track to hide it.
