Sina, It's okay to feel strange about our food because you're not used to it and at least you tried. I'm glad that you visited the Philippines and that your sister felt the sense of her relatives. It's challenging to live in other country especially when you're not used to the food, culture, language, and locals' behaviour. Kudos! I'm hoping they'll make trips to Norway with Oleah so they can also meet your parents.

Kudos to the sister for trying anyway. That is soo Norwegian, they are very skeptical when it comes to food but they will try to eat it regardless :) They have almost the same type of food here in Norway that is called `svineribbe`. It is saltier compared to our version of letchon and it is popular during Christmas season.
