Not sure on US laws, I know it will be different than UK laws but here if it were legal to ride an Electric Skateboard on a road, which it's not then you would have to stop at traffic lights as it's illegal not to... Then again riding them on the path would also be illegal here, the only place you could legally ride them in the UK is on your own private property, but I'm sure he would or has rode one in the UK, he doesn't seem like a man that would listen to those laws though...
