Emily your curly hair looks so good! I wish my hair would take curls like that! I inherited thick, nearly black, straight as a board hair from the Native American from both my parent’s. Even a professional perm won’t last that long in my hair. - The male goats are so funny with the sounds they make. 😂 I’m glad they are all so friendly with humans. But yea…unless you can *REALLY* separate them by both distance & a really strong fence it’s impossible to let them graze when you have that many does. 😕🤷🏻‍♀️

Thank you all for sharing your stories and experiences. I have learned a lot from watching your videos. My husband and I are new to goats and just bred our 2 does with a rented buck. Ours are due the end of February and beginning (middle) of March. It's exciting and scary at the same time. We started our new home and farm build a little over a year ago on our 18 acres of forested land in East Texas. We also have 4 KuneKune piglets that we will start breeding next year. They are so fun and entertaining as well. We also have chickens and our next venture is going to be Quails. I look forward to seeing the progress of your breeding and new babies come spring.

I have wavy hair. Husband had curly hair. What's left of it still is when it gets longer. Older daughter has always had curls. Son has waves. Younger daughter had straight hair until she was in her 20s. Now she has waves. My sister had more curls than I did as a child. Now her hair is straight. Her daughter's hair has started getting wavy. She's mid-40s. So don't give up hope. You may have a curly haired child yet some day.

I hear you on the curly hair. Growing up I longed for curly hair and mine wouldn't take curl, certain sections wouldn't even accept a perm. Then in my mid twenties my hair completely changed. The texture changed and I got a curl pattern very similar to yours, just not quite as tight up towards the scalp. So I finally have my long beautiful wavy hair and I couldn't be happier. My son is that age now and I'm waiting to see if his changes too.

I love the curly length on Emily! I can't believe that she doesn't want curly hair it must be because she knows all the trouble we have to go through in order for our hair to just look normal. Plus, curly is a dominant gene so I'm surprised that none of your kids are curly
